About this Activity
This tour takes you to the highest and most easterly point in the Cayman Islands. It begins at the Active Pursuit tour base on Channel Road in West End. From here, you'll ride along South Side Road West with stops at Rebecca's Cave and the Bat Cave as you head east.
The increasing elevation as you ride towards The Bluff will be evident as will the flora that clings to its face. Keep yours eyes peeled for the Rock Iguana during this section of the ride. As you reach the end of South Side Road West, you'll take a left onto Ashton Reid Drive which is a steep climb up The Bluff leading to Major Donald Drive. At this point, some may find it necessary to walk their bicycles up.
From here, you'll head east along Major Donald Drive and then make your first stop at Bight Road Nature Walk followed by a stop at the National Trust Parrot Reserve. Then you will head for the Lighthouse and Lighthouse Footpath where you'll take in the panoramic vistas and learn about the history of this site. On the return journey, there will be stops at the Cayman Brac Sports Complex and Public Beach before returning to the Active Pursuit tour base.
